LION PRIDE FROM THE LANDS OF DETROIT LOSES PLAYOFF RUN TO THE COWBOYS 20-24

The wondering Lions traveled south to the lands of Arlington Texas, home to the Dallas Cowboys. Their game plan to knock off the Cowboys from their high horse had already been studied and implemented. What was needed to accomplish this feat was easier said than done.

The Lions in the first half were unstoppable; they were well prepared and well equipped to overrun the Cowboys and to continue their own NFC playoff quest. What the Lions brain trust hadn’t prepared for was for something unexpected, something you couldn’t plan against; a new Cowboys attitude.

This philosophy when believed could turn the entire franchise around and now it had taken hold. It permeated the halls of AT&T Stadium and was believed by all that heard it. In the simplest of geeky ways, Jason Garrett had been saying it over and over, “Be your best, not try your best”. “Be your best, not try your best” finally it was accepted.

During the half time break the Dallas Cowboys learned that in the throes of defeat the real character of its players would reveal itself.

Once the second half of the game started the confident Lions thought they could continue to have their way with them Boys’. But it was obvious to the 91,410 in attendance that the Dallas Cowboys came out with a new attitude and from that point on they were going to play better, smarter, and with higher intensity.

In the second half the Detroit Lions were held for only 3 points. While the Dallas Cowboys scored three times for 17. The Dallas defense forced 3 Lions turnovers and flat out beat them in every down there after.

Tony Romo was clutch throughout the game especially in the last minutes. He was superb throwing to Witten, Beasley, Bryant, Murray, and two touchdown Williams. I’m sure with this type performance lots of Romo haters were disappointed they couldn’t talk crap about him.

Demarcus Lawrence was a goat in the final minutes of the game by picking up a fumble only to give it right back. However, he shook that mistake off and continued to play, because that’s what he was suppose to do. Seconds later the awesome trifecta happened, he sacked the quarterback, stripped the ball, and recovered the fumble all on the same play, oh redemption!

We, at jtracker48.com would like to thank the Detroit Lions because without their support the Dallas Cowboys wouldn’t have won.

On a personal note: This goes to all those fair weather Cowboys fans out there. Look beyond the past, it’s time to be united with all of us and refocus your effort and energy against our opponents.

THIS IS PLAYOFF FOOTBALL BABY, our next victory will come in Lambo Field against those cheesy yellow helmet heads and that guy. You know, the double check guy. The one that’s going to get “X”ed out next Sunday afternoon!

Jtracker48 predicts a Cowboys win 35-24

JTRACKER48 COMPASS AWARD is awarded to the entire organization for believing in themselves and proving that they will not stop fighting until the final whistle of the game has blown.

The Saints came marching in and left limping out

OMG. Who dat? no, Who wat? no, Who kicked your ass!

This game turned out to be an ass whooping or what?! I knew the Cowboys were going to beat them but beat them senseless?

I believe that Sunday’s game was perhaps the awakening of America’s Team. The Cowboys appear to have believed in the new philosphy the Coordinators and Head Coach have been preaching. The Offensive Coordinator Bill Calahan has helped put together a very strong/stout Offensive Line. This change in tactical prowess has allowed the running backs, tight ends and receivers to have success. Murray is now leading the NFL in yardage play from scrimmage and in turn Romo has had phenomenal success throwing the ball, dam Romo should be nicknamed Houdini for all those crazy moves he made. Romo looked fantastic out there but on a couple plays he looked as if his back was bothering him.

On Defense Rod Marinelli received the reigns from Monte Kiffin and has now produced what appears thus far to be a very good Defense. On both sides of the ball they look more focused and crisp and it shows by the way they are playing. Most everyone I’ve interviewed has said that the Saints have a great offense but that they were flat out stopped by the Cowboys Defense, of course I agree.

Some of the so called expert analyists are alredy being negative and proclaiming that the beat down the Saints received at the hands of the Cowboys was a mirage and that we should not believe our eyes. Well excuse me Mr experts, I see what I see and what I see so far is a very balance  and well coached team.

This could very well be our year, now I know we have a very difficult schedule left to play but dam they played good on Sunday Night and we expect more of the same.

Top 4 Standouts:

1. Offensive Line 2. Demarco Murray 3. Romo 4. T. Williams

JTRACKER COMPASS AWARD is awarded to the:  Offensive Line for their terrific blocking and for holding the line.

Needless to say there are two camps when talking Cowboys. First is the camp I belong to, the real fan, the believer, and no matter how well or not they do we give them the benefit of the doubt.

The second camp is where all the bandwagon, disbelievers, and haters gather together to drink the kool-aid.

Where do you stand my friend?

Cornerback Morris Claiborne aka “spoiled brat”

Jerry Jones stated the truth about CB Claiborne when he said, “the third year cornerback had not been worth the sixth pick of the 2012 draft”. A little later Claiborne heard those words over the loud speaker which comes out of the Sports Media and decided to bolt from the facility. For the life of me I can not comprehend why an average player in the Cowboys organization, a multi-millionaire no less. Gets his feelings hurt and decides to run away showing absolutely no appreciation for his hiring. The General Manager and his coaches had high hopes for this young man. It sucks that he didn’t work out as well as we all thought he would but that’s life. Sometimes our wishful thinking don’t pan out. Claiborne needs to grow some cajones and publicly state he acted like a spoiled child and he takes full responsibility for his actions. Also, he needs to congradulate Scandrick for being a better player than he. Currently Claiborne doesn’t stand a chance of playing with the big boys (the irony) and has been left to warm up the bench for others.
