The Saints came marching in and left limping out

OMG. Who dat? no, Who wat? no, Who kicked your ass!

This game turned out to be an ass whooping or what?! I knew the Cowboys were going to beat them but beat them senseless?

I believe that Sunday’s game was perhaps the awakening of America’s Team. The Cowboys appear to have believed in the new philosphy the Coordinators and Head Coach have been preaching. The Offensive Coordinator Bill Calahan has helped put together a very strong/stout Offensive Line. This change in tactical prowess has allowed the running backs, tight ends and receivers to have success. Murray is now leading the NFL in yardage play from scrimmage and in turn Romo has had phenomenal success throwing the ball, dam Romo should be nicknamed Houdini for all those crazy moves he made. Romo looked fantastic out there but on a couple plays he looked as if his back was bothering him.

On Defense Rod Marinelli received the reigns from Monte Kiffin and has now produced what appears thus far to be a very good Defense. On both sides of the ball they look more focused and crisp and it shows by the way they are playing. Most everyone I’ve interviewed has said that the Saints have a great offense but that they were flat out stopped by the Cowboys Defense, of course I agree.

Some of the so called expert analyists are alredy being negative and proclaiming that the beat down the Saints received at the hands of the Cowboys was a mirage and that we should not believe our eyes. Well excuse me Mr experts, I see what I see and what I see so far is a very balance  and well coached team.

This could very well be our year, now I know we have a very difficult schedule left to play but dam they played good on Sunday Night and we expect more of the same.

Top 4 Standouts:

1. Offensive Line 2. Demarco Murray 3. Romo 4. T. Williams

JTRACKER COMPASS AWARD is awarded to the:  Offensive Line for their terrific blocking and for holding the line.

Needless to say there are two camps when talking Cowboys. First is the camp I belong to, the real fan, the believer, and no matter how well or not they do we give them the benefit of the doubt.

The second camp is where all the bandwagon, disbelievers, and haters gather together to drink the kool-aid.

Where do you stand my friend?

The Saints will march in to Cowboys country

I don’t know about you all but I’m excited to see the New Orleans Saints and their high power offense come in to Cowboys territory. I still have nightmares from the beating we received last year (49-17) and am aching for revenge.

The Saints still have a very dynamic offense led by QB Drew Brees. Most NFL analyst call this offense a juggernaut, I call it a juggernaut light. Why you ask, well it’s because they are without their playmaker RB Mark Ingram in the backfield. An Offense of this caliber to function perfectly all cylinders have to be firing or it will be in danger of misfire. Now don’t be fooled by their slow start, their offense is still very good but their defense lead by none other than Rob Ryan is lacking.

Seems that Ryan’s defense is again to complicated for his players to thrive and play well in. Hell, every team (including at Dallas) Rob Ryan has coached at receives the same criticism, “his defensive tactics/plays are overly complicated”, enough said.

The Cowboys in my mind have played better than expected, Tony Romo is the key (again) to a successful season. Romo’s play in the first game was frightening. While throwing the ball Romo looked lethargic, rusty, hurt, and inaccurate. But in the past two games he has improved and looks much better, not quite the Romo of old but almost there.

Romo’s rating so far is 86.1 and has thrown for 674 yards with 4 touchdowns, not bad but has a lot of room for improvement.

The Saints Offense are better statistically speaking but the Cowboys hold a better rating Defensively. Needless to say, without going to deep into it, it’s a very even matchup.

DeMarco Murray will be the work horse for this game and he will contribute enough to help the Cowboys come out on top. (hopefully Murray has solved his fumbling problem)

I predict that the Cowboys will beat the Saints by about 1 touchdown. It will be a high scoring game but in the last remaining possession the Cowboys will score a touchdown to make it 35 to 28.

what say you?

Cornerback Morris Claiborne aka “spoiled brat”

Jerry Jones stated the truth about CB Claiborne when he said, “the third year cornerback had not been worth the sixth pick of the 2012 draft”. A little later Claiborne heard those words over the loud speaker which comes out of the Sports Media and decided to bolt from the facility. For the life of me I can not comprehend why an average player in the Cowboys organization, a multi-millionaire no less. Gets his feelings hurt and decides to run away showing absolutely no appreciation for his hiring. The General Manager and his coaches had high hopes for this young man. It sucks that he didn’t work out as well as we all thought he would but that’s life. Sometimes our wishful thinking don’t pan out. Claiborne needs to grow some cajones and publicly state he acted like a spoiled child and he takes full responsibility for his actions. Also, he needs to congradulate Scandrick for being a better player than he. Currently Claiborne doesn’t stand a chance of playing with the big boys (the irony) and has been left to warm up the bench for others.
